Smart Classes
Gurukul Public School has two computer laboratories with 20 computers in each lab accessible to students. It has advanced infrastructure in terms of hardware and software which cater to the requirements of the students, teachers and the curriculum.
The Information Technology curriculum of GPS has been planned in such a way that the students of classes 1st to 10th get exposure to various technologies and softwares. In the primary section, the students are trained to use basic softwares like Windows, MS-Office (Ms-Word, MS-Powerpoint, Ms-Excel etc.). Along with this, they get exposure to computer programming at elementary stage through the computer languages like LOGO and Q-Basic in order to improve their logical skills. The students are assessed on their practical skills over a regular time interval via projects and assignments given to them.
Computer Lab
The Library at Gurukul Public School aims to provide a supportive and welcoming environment for all members of the school community, in which to enjoy reading, research and study for both academic and extracurricular purposes. We have a well-structured and highly maintained library consisting more than 2000 books, newspapers, magazines and novels. We create an atmosphere where our young learners get motivated towards self-learning and feel enjoyable in the library Hall of Gurukul Public School.
Library
Safety means protection from accidents, danger, risk, hazards or injury. Safety is related to the health and well-being of people at work and in other activities. And in other hand, security is a condition of being protected against planned, malicious and criminal incidents. Gurukul Public School is very alert about the safety and security of our students. We have Alarm Systems, Alarm Monitoring, IP CCTV, CCTV Monitoring, Preventative Maintenance and repairs, Access Control Systems, Intercoms Audio & Video, Optical fibre installations and Fire detection & prevention systems which make our safety and security management more confident for the same.
CCTV SURVILLIANCE
Our teachers and carers are highly trained to work with students with such complex needs and committed to empowering and enriching their lives, giving them every opportunity to make progress towards fulfillment and independence. In same we have systematic transport system which deals with safety and security of student from home to school and school to home.
The drivers are highly trained and professionals and with the help of class teachers makes it possible smoothly. We ensure the complete responsibility of students inside of the campus the moment they board in.
Transport
Gurukul Public School has excellent sports infrastructure which includes outdoor facilities and indoor facilities. Main outdoor facilities include Gurukul Cricket Ground, Basketball Court, Volleyball Court and Kho-Kho Ground. The indoor facilities include Badminton Court with National Level Parameters, Taekwondo Hall, Yoga Hall and Multi-purpose hall for Table Tennis, Chess, Carrom and other such games. Our sports teachers & coaches are all highly qualified and well experienced professionals who help the students of all abilities to achieve their very best whether it is Cricket, Basketball or Taekwondo.
Yoga & Sports
At Gurukul Public school, we believe in balancing academics, athletics and arts for all of our students. With clubs Houses, Volunteer-ship, sports teams and after-school activities offered each month, your child will find one or more activities that match his or her interests here at GPS.
Whether it’s mastering teamwork in Games or time management skills between homework and clubs, our students develop lifelong skills and strategies in our exciting, hands-on and truly enriching programs and extracurricular activities. To ensure that your child has the opportunity to explore a variety of programs and extracurricular activities, clubs and Houses have a dedicated period two days a week.
